In prelude to the festivities marking the fifty (50) years of independence of the Ivory Coast one week cultural was organized in San Pedro. It is accordingly that the charged commission of the industrial and technological commercial demonstrations economic whose DG of the Port authority of San Pedro (PASP) Mr. Désiré Dallo is the police chief, organized an exposure on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 to the hotel Sophia de San Pedro. The cut of the ribbon by the DG of the PASP marked the grand opening of the exposure. It was accompanied for this purpose by Mr. Kla Sylvanus, president of the general advice of San Pedro, and M.Yokozo Firmin (general secretary of the prefecture), representing the regional prefect and of Mr. Djike sub-prefect of the area of San Pedro. This cultural day aimed at putting forward the evolution of the Port of San Pedro and all the economic actors who play a big role in the urban development of San Pedro. Several institutions and economic operators of the town of San Pedro took part in this exposure. There were on the whole 30 exhibitors. Let us note that the DG of the PASP offered two (2) cocktails to this ceremony; including one at 4 p.m. reserved with official and the other with 20:00 for the whole of the participants.
