Mr. Matt Rowe of the delegation of the US Coast guards had said on the occasion of the visit of courtesy that he and his delegation have made to the DG of the PASP, Hilaire Marcel Lamizana on the margins of the mission that he was driving under the ISPS code, on Tuesday, January 05, 2013.
For the American military, the mission he led came not do an audit but rather, to exchange with the port of San Pedro on security matters and this authority, in the well understood framework of the ISPS code.
The DG for its part expressed the determination of the ASP to move forward on security issues.
« …We do a lot with little and in accordance with what is recognized internationally... 'He said.
The mission of the US Coast guards has interacted very extensively with all the security apparatus of the Port of San Pedro, all punctuated by visiting different sites subject to the ISPS Code certificate.
